The purpose of this 4-hour continuing education course is to teach RCFE administrators how to prevent and/or deal with sexual harassment as well as how to report such harassment.
Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to:
  • Understand the definition and various forms of sexual harassment, including the legal framework and organizational policies governing it.
  • Learn the proper procedures for reporting instances of sexual harassment and explore effective strategies for addressing and resolving such complaints within the workplace.
  • Recognize the psychological, emotional, and professional consequences experienced by victims of sexual harassment, as well as the broader impact on workplace culture and productivity.
  • Gain knowledge of support resources available to victims of sexual harassment and learn how to effectively intervene to provide assistance and foster a supportive environment.
  • Develop skills to appropriately respond to allegations of sexual harassment, including conducting investigations and implementing preventative measures to create a harassment-free workplace culture.
  • Understand the legal obligations and liabilities of administrators in preventing, addressing, and remedying instances of sexual harassment within their organizations, while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
